Welcome to my creative universe where color is the backdrop of every visual story.
Over time, I have experimented with various artistic techniques, from collages to Chinese inks, watercolor, sculpture, digital art, oil, and acrylic. However, in recent years, pastel has become my medium of choice, offering explosive colors, rich textures, and unparalleled depth.
My work features figurative pieces in a distinctly impressionist style, complemented by contemporary works with gestural and textured backgrounds. The collection explores a diversity of subjects with primary themes of movement, energy, and fluidity. Portraits, urban landscapes, still lifes: my pieces demonstrate the pastel's ability to quickly and sensitively convey emotions while maintaining a vibrant intensity over time.
Biography
Originally from Saguenay, I was introduced to music, theater, and drawing at a young age, which shaped my artistic sensitivity. Later, a career in communications opened me to other media such as writing, photography, and video.
I have studied painting and drawing with various instructors over the years, but my desire for perfection led me to pursue studies in Visual Arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), a path I continue to follow with determination.
As a proud member of the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada (PSEC), I received an award in 2023 at the opening of the "Pastel" exhibition for one of my works. I have had the honor of exhibiting at Gallery 203 in Old Montreal and in Westmount as part of collective exhibitions. My creations have found their place in the collections of numerous art enthusiasts in Quebec, Canada, and even abroad.
In August 2024, I will have the pleasure of exhibiting at the Sainte-Rose Art Center in Laval with PSEC and at various venues in Saint-Eustache in the fall of 2024 as part of the exhibition "Movement and Light: An Exploration Around Pastel."

This exhibition features around fifteen pastel works, mainly urban landscapes and a few portraits, exploring themes of movement, light, and energy.
One of my works has been selected for the online international exhibition “PIXEL PASTEL”, organized by the Société de Pastel de l’Est du Canada. Out of 412 submissions from 19 countries, 134 works were chosen, including mine. The exhibition will be accessible online starting December 15, 2024.
